For more than sixty years the Dupre Carrier Godchaux Insurance Agency has been serving Acadiana. DCG opened its doors in 1959 as the Bobby Dupre Insurance Agency. Mr. Dupre’s hard work and dedication to serving the community has laid the foundation for DCG Insurance Agency to become a leader in the insurance community throughout the South.
Mr. Dupre has always surrounded himself with good people, partnering with Mr. Harold Carrier in 1966, with Mr. Joe Godchaux in 1979, and with Mr. J.E. Brignac, Jr. in 1980. Through the years the agency has been fortunate to acquire a staff of nearly a hundred dedicated, hard working employees that understand your needs and are eager to help you find the coverage that fits your budget and gives you the peace of mind you deserve.
Today DCG Insurance Agency is owned by a second generation of partners. Mr. Dupre’s commitment to maintain a locally owned agency to service the families and businesses unique to Louisiana encouraged him and his partners to pass the torch to a group of hard working, dedicated people that shared their vision.
In April, 2005, a second generation of owners were introduced. Their focus is a commitment to maintain the quality service your have grown to depend on.
