Beacon Behavioral Hospital has been offering mental health and dual diagnosis treatment to adults (ages 18+) for over 20 years. Our hospitals and outpatient day programs are located conveniently throughout Louisiana. Our inpatient psychiatric care to adults and seniors with acute mental health needs. The inpatient program is designed to provide short-term acute treatment for adults and seniors suffering from depression and other mood-disorders, psychosis, suicidal preoccupation and major decline in functioning and behavioral changes due to a mental illness. The Intensive Outpatient Program is designed to empower those who wish to strengthen positive coping skills that will assist them in overcoming the challenges of a mental health diagnosis, such as depression, anxiety or bipolar disorder. Our program offers treatment 3-5 days a week; including 3 therapeutic group sessions each day, complete psychiatric assessment, medication management along with transportation assistance.
