Through a consortium agreement, eight Parish Presidents collaborate to ensure workforce development services are provided to citizens within the local area. The Acadiana Workforce Solutions Board #40’s principal function, in collaboration with the Chief Elected Official and Parish Presidents, is to provide oversight and policy guidance of the workforce development system. Our Chief Elected Official is St. Landry Parish President, Mr. Jessie Bellard. St. Landry Parish Government also serves as the grant recipient and fiscal agent for the WIOA funds issued by Louisiana Workforce Commission.
